Avery Ellis is Joseph Cama’s new alter-ego for this album. He is the main character in the album’s story and is who we experience the album through. His personality is inspired by the classic “high-school loser“ trope you see in 2000s teen movies. Someone who gets bullied, has no friends, and has a hopeless crush on a popular girl. In the album, we see how this “loser“ uses his daydreams to escape his mundane life and how he finally decides to make a change for himself and for the better.
